Uganda has recorded 864more positive cases with a positivity rate of 11.2 per cent from a sample size of 7,722 tested in the last 24 hours.
Total confirmed positive cases are now 155379and cumulative tests so far conducted are 2,230,135.
The new infections are distributed in counties as follows; Kampala (548), Wakiso (131), Soroti (56), Kyotera (29), Gomba (26), Oyam (10), Masindi (7), Mbarara (6), Jinja (6), Nabilatuku (4), Buliisa (3), Mukono (2), Kabarole (2), Luweero (2), Arua (1), Adjumani (1), Tororo (9)
The Ministry of Health announced that 98785 patients had recovered from the disease both from the Home-Based Isolation and Care programme.
