Christian Eriksen is in a stable condition in hospital, a statement on Sunday morning said
Christian Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest during Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland, Denmark doctor Morten Boesen confirmed
Eriksen was given CPR by medics during Denmark’s opener in Copenhagen on Saturday after he collapsed face-first into the pitch while running to receive a throw-in.
The 29-year-old midfielder is stable and “continues to be hospitalized for further examination,” the Danish Football Union said in a statement posted to Twitter on Sunday. It added that Eriksen “sent his greetings to his teammates.”

Boesen said: “We don’t have an explanation for what happened.
“I didn’t see it live, I saw it on the screen after it happened. You have seen the same as me, but there’s no explanation so far.
Well, he was gone. We did cardiac resuscitation. And it was cardiac arrest. How close were we [to losing him]? I don’t know. We got him back after one defib (defibrillation), so that’s quite fast.”
