“This month, we removed a network of accounts and pages in Uganda that engaged in CIB (Coordinated Inauthentic Behaviour) to target public debate ahead of the election,” an email sent to AFP read.

Some of the accounts which were disabled include blogger Ashburg Kato’s, Jennifer Full Figure’s, Bajjo event’s and Isma Olaxess.

After being disabled, Ashburg took to Twitter and called for the banning of Facebook in Uganda with claims that they connived with Bobi Wine to disable their accounts and pages.
