The Fisheries Protection Unit (FPU) has warned against fishermen on lake George against using pancakes to catch fish.
This follows a report that fishermen who have resorted to pancake method as a new measure to catch fish which is dangerous.
The fishermen reportedly throw pancakes into areas where they have put nets to attract fish.
However the FPU Commander Lt. Cornell Kirya Dick says oils affect the digestive system of the fish and are not recommended to be put into acquatic life.
