Floods in the North Eastern Ghana have killed 7 people and left many homeless.
The country’s National disaster management organisation has dispatched a rescue team to assist residents in the affected communities.

The flooding was caused by torrential rains that led to washing away homes.
They also submerged a large area of cropland raising concerns about food shortages in the near future.
