Ugandan general and son of President Yoweri Museveni Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba on March 10th 2023 held talks with the UAE Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Abdalla Hassan Al Shamsi, on a wide range of bilateral issues.

In September 2022, while still the commander of Land Forces, Gen Kainerugaba hosted hosted officials from the UAE government at one of his offices in Entebbe.
It was a follow-up meeting after his initial meeting in Abu Dhabi in July of that year. “Today, was happy to meet representatives of the UAE government. Follow up on meetings we had in Abu Dhabi in July. I thank them for their visit,” he said.
Gen Kainerugaba visited Abu Dhabi and held meetings with senior government and security officials.
Meanwhile, the senior presidential advisor also met Michael Nuwagira, alias Toyota, to disccuss “upcoming activities for the MK Movement.”
