Health Workers in Nigeria including Nurses, laboratory scientists, and pharmacists began a national wide strike demanding improved working conditions and payment of outing salaries.

They also want a review of the COVID-19 allowances.

A strike of one of the largest health care unions comes just days after doctors in the country suspended their strike last week over similar demands.
