KCCA (Kampala Capital City Authority) has warned all politicians who have pinned their  posters in unauthorized places in the city center that they risk being prosecuted in courts of law.

The stand warning was given by the acting Spokes person for Kampala Capital City Authority Daniel Nuwabine against politicians who were stubbornly littering the city with campaign posters and those putting flyers as well.

Political aspirants have been given 30 days ultimatum from 7th September 2020 to either remove the posters or risk facing prosecution.

He also says that there is a process for those seeking to pin posters and advertisement in the city center.

This involves seeking permission from the Authority as stipulated in the national physical planning Standard guidelines of 2011.

He add that posters have been placed on traffic sign posts which interferes with the users who would like to view these signs.
