Kenya’s education minister has hinted at the pre-opening of schools earlier than the initial proposal of January 2021 if COVID-19 cases continue to reduce.
George Magoha Has said the tertiary institutions may also re-open earlier than was pre-planned.
Kenya scrapped the entire 2020 academic year in March because of the pandemic.
The minister said that it would be in their interest if learners re-open schools so that they can study.
