Duties and responsibilities:

Reports to the Administrative Assistant in the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of NCHE;

  1. Organizing all records of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate;
  2. Supporting the Directorate in archiving all files;
  3. Ensuring easy retrieval of documents within the Directorate;
  4. Creating and maintaining NCHE databases to ensure quick retrieval of information;
  5. Developing a file system for ease of retrieval
  6. Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by superiors.

Person Specifications:

  1. Minimum of a Diploma in Records and Archives Management, Library and Information Management or its equivalent in a related field;
  2. Must be ICT literate;
  3. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills;
  4. Knowledge of Management Information Systems is essential

Expected Outputs:

  1. Robust filing system of documents in the Directorate for easy retrieval;
  2. All files archived;
  3. Directorate meeting records including notices and minutes archived;
  4. Record of correspondences and publications within the Directorate
  5. Registry of documents through Directorates
