Lt. Gen Wilson Mbadi appointed CDF
President Yoweri Museveni, also the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Uganda has on Thursday 24th June made new appointments in the army.
Museveni has appointed Lt. Gen. Wilson Mbadi as the new Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).
Lt Gen Peter Elwelu has been promoted to the position of Deputy CDF.
Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba, the first son has also been appointed the new commander of Land Forces, replacing Elweru in the role and will work with Maj Gen Sam Okiding who will be the Deputy Commander of the land Forces.
