Nigeria will today begin mass COVID-19 immunization in the capital Abuja using Oxford Azatra ZeneCa vaccines although Covax a UN based initiative to ensure poor nations acquire the doses say that they may not be enough.

Frontline health workers will be the first to get the jabs in Nigeria, the elderly and people with underlying conditions will also be priotised.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice president Yemi Osijambo will receive their jabs on Saturday that is tomorrow.

The country received a shipment of nearly four million doses of vaccines earlier this week.
