Goodman International is a Pharmaceutical Company based in Kampala – Uganda, dealing in Importation and Distribution of Human and Veterinary Medicines, Agent & Local Technical Representative (LTR) for several Manufacturers from Europe and Middle East.

We are searching for Honest & Trustworthy, Smart, and Qualified Candidates to join the Company and occupy the following position: – Office Secretary

Job Summary:  The Overall Responsibility of the Office Secretary is to support Management in the fulfillment and Execution of duties to ensure efficient management of the office and effective liaison with external partners and contacts as delegated.  The Office Secretary  is expected to operate and perform to the highest professional standards with considerable Independence, Diversity, Initiative and high level organizational skills and knowledge of Goodman International Policies

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • To provide administrative and secretarial support to Top management
  • To co-ordinate and arrange for meetings as well as schedule activities for the Top Management
  • To participate actively in the company’s International Standard Organization Team.
  • To handle documentation and day-to-day work of the company’s public involvements such as Sponsorships, voluntary activities and events)
  • To represent Top management at both internal and external meetings
  • Perform any other duties in line with position assigned by management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in an Administration-related or Business-related course from a recognized Institution.
  • Must have at least three years of working experience in the position of Secretary/ Administrative/Personal Assistant
  • Should have certificates in acquired skills of Secretarial activities and/or computer skills
  • Must be computer literate with high understanding and knowledge of Microsoft office package, Microsoft Outlook
  • Should have basic accounting skills

Characteristic & competency Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks seamlessly
  • Well focused and pays attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high standard of professionalism
  • Highly proactive, maintains confidentiality and works with integrity
  • Excellent presentation skills with fluency in English and local languages
  • Female , preferable below the age of 35Years
