On 3rd December 2020, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni commissioned 300-seater MV Sigulu.
MV Sigulu becomes Uganda’s largest passenger ferry and retains a space of over 18 cars.
The ferry connects to Sigulu and Lolwe islands from Namayingo mainland in Lake Victoria.

It will help islanders access social services, transport produce, boost fishing and reduce water transport mortality occasioned by rickety vessels/boats
