Singer Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleon has apologized to the public in a video circulating on social media platforms for his immoral act with his blood brother Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel during his gwanga mujje concert.
Chameleon displayed a lot of love when he passionately kissed his brother Weasel publically on stage during the gwanga mujje concert that took place on 24th February 2023.
I just knelt and thanked God for this “small but very significant” sign of repentance from @JChameleone. Change is actions not words, but it starts with “an expression of regret”. This is a very good step forward. I will reach out tomorrow for more engagement. cc @Mukulaa pic.twitter.com/tvKcpZKCQl

The singer first thanked his friends, fans, and the whole continent for supporting him during his concert.
“I want to thank everybody for supporting gwanga mujje the long-awaited concert that we enjoyed last weekend,” Chameleon said.
According to Chameleon the act of kissing Weasel was influenced by the excitement and energy he felt on that day.
“I wish to use this opportunity to apologize to everybody for the deed me and Weasel shared on stage. I know most of my friends are offended and didn’t carry it lightly and I sincerely apologize,” Chameleon said.
“It was just too much energy and excitement. I actually regret it, the energy was so high it was just the wrong way to share it with Weasel my brother,” Chameleon added.
He went ahead and apologized on behalf of his brother and thanked everybody for accepting his apology.
The singer’s apology comes after a famous Pastor Martin Ssempa came out and criticized the incident when he went ahead to file up a complaint at the police so the law enforcement agency can investigate Jose Chameleon after being pictured kissing his brother Weasel on different occasions.
