The 18-year-old midfielder Steven Sserwadda has joined Major League Soccer team New York Red Bulls from Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC).
“We here by confirm that we have finalised an agreement for the transfer of Steven Sserwadda to New York Red Bulls on an undisclosed permanent transfer.” KCCA FC confirmed via website.
Sserwadda joined KCCA Soccer Academy in 2015 and is a current player with the U20 and U23 Uganda National Football Teams.
While at KCCA, he has won1 Cecafa Clubs Cup, 1 Uganda Premier League, 2 Super Cups, a Super 8 cup.
He will join former KCCA FC and Uganda Cranes player and captain Ibrahim Sekagya who is an assistant coach at New York Red Bulls.
