Uganda government on Friday suspended flights to and from India after detecting the Indian Covid-19 variant.
Minister of Health, Jane Ruth Aceng said that suspension starts May 1, midnight until further notice.
“All passenger flights between Uganda and India a highly affected country have been suspended beginning 1st May midnight” – Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng said

“All travelers who may have been in India or traveled through India in the last 14 days regardless of route taken shall not be allowed into Uganda,” – she added
