On Sunday, Uganda’s first-ever rower in the Olympics Kathleen Grace Noble qualified for the finals scheduled for Thursday.
She finished second in the Women’s single sculls semi-final E/F 1 posting 8:31.67

Kathleen Grace Noble is a Ugandan rower who is recognized as the first Ugandan to qualify for rowing at the Olympics in the Women’s Single Scull. She is also recognized as having achieved Uganda’s best time so far in the 50m butterfly at the FINA World Swimming Championships.
