Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho‘ Sredojevic on 13th August 2021 named a 30 man provisional squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

The Cranes will play its first Qualifier game against Kenya next month.

According to FUFA, the players will first undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test before entering residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel on Saturday.

The training will start on 16th August at a venue that will be communicated, later the team will depart for friendly games in Jordan against the Syria National Team on 23rd and 26th August.

The team will then depart for Ethiopia on 27th August for another friendly game two days later.

On 31st August, the Uganda Cranes contingent will then move to Kenya for their first 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier game against the Harambee Stars.
