Singer Hajara Namukwaya commonly known as Spice Diana has fetched criticism and hatred from the fans on social media about being lined up to perform at Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Thanksgiving ceremony and she has been regarded as a traitor.
The festivities are expected to be held at Kigezi High School Playground in Western Uganda on 19th April 2023 championing the Uganda-Rwanda Boarder’s opening
A video clip was shared online where Spice Diana was advocating and advertising her performance at the said event, something so many Ugandans found offence.
Although several musicians have been lined up to entertain, including , Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, and Vinka among others, people have found offence in Spice Diana claiming that she is a close associate of opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
These have embarked on a campaign that rallies fellow opposition supporters to boycott Spice Diana’s music
Others, on the other hand, have maintained that Spice should pull out from the event reasoning she shouldn’t feat with people that have caused misery to Ugandans for decades.
